KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In accordance with the business strategy, the Area Sales Manager for Eastern Europe acquires customers and supports them commercially. With support from the Director of Sales &  Marketing , he/she negotiates sales contracts, terms & conditions and frame agreements. He/she is responsible for the development of predefined geographical areas and new markets/regions to be defined; he/she will travel extensively within this area and preferably lives in the mentioned area.

MAIN DUTIES

Responsible for his/her budget, he/she performs the following tasks:

  • Management of the existing customer base
  • Acquisition of new customers and value adding resellers
  • Organization of on-site training, seminars and other customer related events
  • Representation of the division at local associations/exhibitions
  • Participation in definition and provision of his/her budget and sales tools
  • He/she may represent the company at forums, seminars and presentations

The Area Sales Manager reports to the Director Sales & Marketing.

REQUIREMENTS

The person needs to have at least 5 year experience as sales manager or pre/post sales engineer in an industrial and technology environment and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The person must be able to negotiate at all levels with large and medium-sized companies. The sales area is in Europe including the following regions: Eastern Europe. Residence in one of these countries is imerative.

The job requires fluency in English (written /spoken). Good knowledge of any local language in your sales area and /or Russian as well as German or Italian  would be more than an asset.
